Innokas Medical Oy and MEGIN Oy have an ongoing manufacturing partnership that has lasted for the past 15 years. Innokas has been the sole manufacturer of MEGIN’s medical devices, the MEG systems, during this time.

The companies have agreed on and began a business transfer project where MEGIN will take over MEG medical devices manufacturing operations going forward. This transfer involves shifting the ownership of the production location in Elimäenkatu 9 from Innokas to MEGIN. The Elimäenkatu factory has served as the sole manufacturing site for MEGIN products, staffed by a highly specialized team with deep expertise in challenging fields such as cryogenics, superconductivity, and wire bonding. This specialized team will begin working under MEGIN following this business transfer.

Innokas and MEGIN will continue contract manufacturing partnership with Innokas providing MEGIN with circuit boards and other sub-assemblies. The business transfer took place on 30th of June and 1st of July onwards business will be operated by MEGIN.

At Innokas, the growth and success of its customers have always been top priorities. The company remains committed to supporting customers in reaching greater market presence and believes this transition will strengthen MEGIN’s long-term operational effectiveness. Innokas has been proud to contribute its specialized expertise in bringing MEGIN’s devices to life and anticipates a continued and mutually beneficial partnership as this next phase unfolds.
